Surprise, surprise… look who’s ratings just PLUMMETED after trying to be the big “noble” Congresswoman who decided to wrongly accuse Former President Trump rather than follow the United States Constitution. Looks like being a RINO doesn’t pay off after all.
Here are the cliff notes…
- Cheney was one of 10 Republicans to vote to impeach Trump for “incitement of insurrection” for his role in inciting the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. Cheney’s rebuke of Trump drew the most attention because of her leadership position.
- Nearly three-quarters of GOP voters and more than 60 percent of all voters in Cheney’s home state of Wyoming now have an unfavorable view of the congresswoman, according to a Jan. 25-26 study by Trump pollster John McLaughlin, according to Politico.
- On Jan. 20, one week after Cheney’s impeachment vote against Trump, Wyoming state Sen. Anthony Bouchard announced plans to run against Cheney in the state’s Republican primary for her House seat in 2022.
- Earlier this week, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., told reporters he planned to travel to Wyoming on Thursday to talk to voters there about what he described as Cheney’s “failed leadership.”
Other RINO’S to watch out for leading up to the Primaries.
